Aim:
- To determine the relation between the sharing information and the observance with the ART in the context of Burkina Faso; - To propose strategies supporting observance to ART.

Method / Issue:
The data collected through an investigation in various structures taking care of PLWHA within the framework of the project of research-action on "the practices of taking care of PLWHA in Burkina Faso". Among the 44 structure of taking care in the country, 30 were selected. In each structure, 20 patients following ART and 5 persons of the staff were interviewed. The data were collected thought semi structured interview and the administration of questionnaire. Data processing with SPSS.

Results / Comments:
The level of observance is rather high. More than 80% of the patients take all their ART the week preceded the investigation. In the same way, 80% never stopped their treatment since they started the ART. The total level of good observance (all doses taken and none ART suspension) is rather high (83% of the patients) The serologic status information is also share with some one for many patients with ART. More than 80% of the patients informed at least one person of their statute. Concerning the relation between the share of the statute and level of observance, it is not established. The sharing of the serologic status is high whatever the level of observance. Among those, which have a good level, 87% shared their serologic status. This percentage is even slightly higher among patients who have a low level of observance (dose untaken or suspension of the treatment). That concern 88% of the patients.

Discussion:
The non-observance in ART is an established fact if even if this study showed that it relates to a minority (8%) of the patients under ART. The risks to see developing resistances appear from theses patients, so it is necessary to reinforce the support to observance for these patients. That passes by an identification of all the factors relating to non-observance.
