Aim:
A survey of 503 members of People living with Hiv-Aids organizations working with the West Region Coordination during the year 2012 revealed that most people believe that homosexuality is a phenomenon imported from the West, whereas for others, it has to do with occultism, or a deliberate choice linked to job insecurity. With this in mind, Colibri (which is the leader of coordination team) developed a project focused on deconstructing these misconceptions about homosexuality among the PLWHA identified above.

Method / Issue:
As a strategy, the project will: - Enhance the capacity building of 10 Men who Sex with Men leaders infected or affected by HIV / AIDS on areas such as interpersonal communication, social listening, homosexuality, representations and self-esteem for 05 days. - Establish a phonebook for the 503 People living with hiv-Aids; - Set up a phone line to call, and receive calls, share and give testimonies on homosexuality among People living with hiv-Aids in the phonebook.

Results / Comments:
- Training of 10 MSM leaders infected or affected by HIV / AIDS on interpersonal communication, social listening and others; - A telephone directory for the 503 People living with Hiv-Aids; - The acquisition of a dedicated phone line, - 377 People living with Hiv-Aids contacted and sensitized by telephone; - 450 testimonies of homosexuals made; - 150/377 People living with Hiv-Aids sensitized considered those misconceptions stupid; - 35/377 People living with Hiv-Aids undertook to talk about homosexuality in their organizations

Discussion:
The testimony of Men Who have Sex with Men contributes in demystifying homosexuality. Outlook: Intensify sensitization and testimonies, especially those made face to face among PLWHA who are still skeptical; Increase MSM / PLWHA meetings for a greater acceptance of Men who have Sexe with men and vice versa.
