Aim:

Sex workers are amongst one of the most marginalized communities all around the world. Stigmatisation, discrimination and violence impact negatively on the lives of sex workers. Several barriers remain evident in front of sex workers in their access to health services. Criminalisation of sex work or some aspects of sex work leaves the members of this group vulnerable to severe human rights violations while damaging their capacities in accessing to health services. This presentation will focus on areas which negatively affect sex workers in the CEECA in their access to sexual and reproductive health services with specific focus on HIV care. Recommendations and work areas of the SWAN Foundation will also be listed in the end of the presentation.
