About AIDSImpact

AIDSImpact is an international conference of behavioral and social sciences related to HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and care, focusing globally and on communities and countries hardest hit by the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
AIDSImpact has been organized every two years since 1989 and nine conferences have been held to date.
The 10th AIDSImpact conference will be located for the first time in the U.S.A since the ban on immigration of HIV- infected persons to this country was lifted in 2009. It is also the first international AIDS conference to do so.
The 2011 meeting will be convened in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
