Instructions for Presenters

ORAL PRESENTATIONS

All presenters need to report to the room where their presentation will take place. IT providers will be available to upload all power point talks. These must be on memory sticks. Please report to the IT provider at least 30 minutes before your session. Ideally uploading your talk on arrival in Botswana will assist in the smooth running of the conference.

PLENARY SPEAKERS

All plenary talks are 15 minutes. Power-point facilities are available at the conference. Please bring your presentation on a memory stick.

PARALLEL SESSIONS

All talks are 10 minutes with an additional 5 minutes for questions. Please do not overrun your time. Power point facilities will be available in all presentation rooms.

POSTER SESSIONS

There are two sessions (Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th September). Please check the programme for your session timing. All posters must be set up in the morning (before 8.30 am) and dismounted in the evening (by 18.30 pm). Staff will have to remove posters that are not dismounted in time.
The size of the poster boards is A1 (594 × 841 mm or 23.4 × 33.1 in). The posters sit behind a transparent plastic covering. Mounting requires removal of the plastic , placement of the poster onto the board and then clipping the plastic back into place. Delegates are advised to bring Blu Tac with them to ensure that posters are affixed adequately.
