Method / Issue:
test pilot, monocentric, not randomized, en.ouvert evaluating the effectiveness of the anti-rtrovirale activity and the tolerance of a first combining treatment ARV in a daily single catch TENEFOVIR + EMTRICITABINE + EFAVIRENZ among 40 patients infected by the HIV-1 included between the 15/07/04 and the 14/12/04. Two PWLA were recruited to ensure the catch in social contribution of the patients. They organized groups of word, meetings of therapeutic eduction, education and counseling nutritional etc............ The quality of this follow-up is assessed on the number of lost of sight, the observance and the therapeutic effectiveness after one year of follow-up.

Results / Comments:
At the end 12 months of follow-up, only one lost of sight was noted for reason of voyage abroad. Three deaths occurred among patients who had a whole a rate of CD4 with 4/mm3 with the setting under treatment. The average observance was 98 %. the therapeutic effectiveness is clear with a median profit in CD4 was of 300/mm3. The plasmatic viral load was reduced on average and had a undetectable viremy (

Discussion:
The proximity of the PWLA with the patients under ARV enables them to better manage their social problems. What is at the origin of a better adherence to the treatment and a greater effectiveness.
