Aim: The holistic care of children in communities enabling them to be uplifted and empowered to make their own life decisions.

Method / Issue: Program support in terms of:
1) ECD (Early Childhood Development)
2) Youth Lifeskills Training and Development
3) Nutritional Support
4) Palliative homebased care and orphan care
5) Facilitating entry back into the education system
6) Securing their home environment i.e. renovating shacks
7) Creating community support forums
8) Provision of psycho-social support including indigenous and cultural support

Results / Comments: Results are based on the above items and will include:
1) Number of children involved in the programs
2) Number of children receiving nutritional support
3) Number of children mainstreamed into the educational system
4) Number of families receiving palliative care and orphan caregiver support
5) Homes renovated and security risks of children especially Child Headed Households
6) Greater number of children in circle of care
7) The impact of psycho-social support

Models of care in terms of indigenous customs and cultural connotations
