Aim:
The world today is witnessing the increasing number of men having sex with men. This is a derived behaviour from the psychological point of vies, business and forced sex. This group of people is in a great risk of HIV infection.

Method / Issue:
Own observation, reading and sharing ideas in the community shows such increase. However, most governments and Civil Societies are still quiet about this. For example in Tanzania there is no any statistics showing the contribution of homosexuallity in HIV spread. Only heterosexuality is prioritized. In actual fact, the ex-prisoners tell us that homosexuallity is highly practiced in prisons, and in many institutions such a practice is there. Back to the normal life, eg. in Dar es Salaam city, there are many such practitioners famously known as Mashoga.

Results / Comments:
Many societies consider this practice as undesirable. However, the practice itself is associated with drug users, which in one way is an indicator of unsafe practice. The government and the Civil societies are quiet because no one has dared to speak out the contribution of homosexuallity in HIV spread.

Discussion:
All communities should break silence about MSM. Those which consider this practice as undesirable, should lay down the initiatives to help the practitioners do away from it. Those who find it as a personal freedom to practice, should then speak out the prevention techniques to the practitioners. Finally the developing countries have very poor information about MSM practices in their countries, so there is a need of research to obtain the definite statistics before laying down prevention strategies to this group.
