Aim:
Make the point of the mid-term progress in the implementation of positive prevention activities in health facilities supported by ACONDA.

Method / Issue:
The implementation started in 2009 and is still running. It consisted in the identification and the selection of health facilities according to the size of its cohort. Then, we proceeded to actor?s capacity building and equipment strengthening in the selected structures. Finally we proceeded in these structures, to the publication of posters showing positive prevention items, giving to them, data collection tools too.

Results / Comments:
71 health facilities with a cohort between 500 and 800 patients have been selected 310 health agents including 60 community workers received capacity building 650 posters with 5 positive prevention items have been published in the health facilities at the attention of patients 1200 family supports have been provided to care providers to make easier messages given to patients 38578 PLWHA including 11704 men and 26874 women received positive prevention counseling with the elaboration of a plan for the reduction of risk for each patient received. The important innovation is the effectiveness of the activity in the community in the scope of the continuum of Care.

Discussion:
HIV prevalence in Côte d?Ivoire passed from 3,9% to 3% actually according to the UNAIDS 2008 and 2011 reports. We think, with the expectation of the validation of temporary statistic results we have, that positive prevention messages to the 38578 PLWHA contributed to the achievement of national results.
