Aim: Swaziland has performed about 25,000 of the target 152,000 MCs among men aged 14-49, providing substantive experience to build on. Transitioning from early MC services and short intensive campaigns to a nationwide accelerated initiative projected to reach 80% of adult men, raises implementation issues including: demand creation, transitions in moving from 'early adopters' and youth to later adopters and adults; need for country leadership and visibility on MC; sector mobilization; continued reduction of changing barriers to implementation.
